This recording project, based on the classic work by Colin Jacks, The Manikin Textbook, also released by this publishing company in the larger collection, A Survey of My Failures This Far, was originally recorded by a bunch of delinquents trying their damnedest to create, in Mr. Jacks’ own words, harmony out of the giggling whiplash I’d experienced some twenty years previous.
